چکیده

Objective To provide evidence-based recommendations to practicing physicians and others regarding the efficacy of oocyte cryopreservation (OC) for donor in vitro fertilization planned OC. Methods The American Society Reproductive Medicine conducted a literature search, which included systematic reviews, meta-analyses, randomized controlled trials, prospective retrospective comparative observational studies published from 1986 2018. Practice Committee task force experts used available evidence through consensus developed guideline recommendations. Main Outcome Measure(s) Outcomes interest live birth rate, clinical pregnancy obstetrical neonatal outcomes, factors predicting reproductive outcomes. Result(s) search identified 30 relevant inform base this guideline. Recommendation(s) Evidence-based were likelihood births after OC, autologous OC infertile women, as well that may impact rates. Recommendations outcomes using fresh vs. cryopreserved oocytes cases or oocytes. Conclusion(s) There is insufficient predict rates On basis limited data, ongoing appear be improved women who undergo at younger older age. Although there are no significant differences per transfer with oocytes, rate same vitrified Neonatal similar compared Future compare cumulative needed.

Human oocyte cryopreservation.

The clinical role of oocyte cryopreservation in assisted reproduction, as an adjunct to sperm and embryo cryopreservation, has been comparatively slow to evolve as a consequence of theoretical concerns related to efficacy and safety. Basic biological studies in the 1990's alleviated many of these concerns leading to more widespread adoption of the technology. While a number of babies were born ...

Human Oocyte And Embryo Cryopreservation

The technology so far applied clinically has been based directly on traditional human embryo cryopreservation protocols, and has produced relatively few offspring. Fortunately to date, no abnormalities have been reported from these pregnancies, regardless of the persistent concerns that freezing and thawing of mature oocytes may disrupt the meiotic spindle and thus increase the potential for an...
